What's the deal? Hoagies, subs or heroes?

Our customers are pretty educated about what they like. Because they originate from three different regions, we're faced with a semi-serious dilemma. If you're from New Jersey (pronounced Joy-zee), you want a sub. If you're from Philly you want a hoagie. And if you're from New York (pronounced New Yawk), you want a hero. So what should Mario's put on our menu without insulting any customers from their various regions? We're thinking about having a customer vote to help solve this dilemma. Who are the new owners of Mario's Italian Market?

Mark and Virginia Zanone have lots of experience in the culinary world as owners of Dune18, a successful and well respected restaurant in Beach Haven. Anyone who has ever enjoyed a meal at Dune18 will testify Mark and Virginia know what they are doing when it comes to quality food and service. When Mario's Deli came on the market last year, they jumped at the chance to bring back the quality and popularity of the original Mario's made famous by it's founder and dear friend Mario Aversa, who sadly passed away in (2019??).

Where is your daily, fresh baked from?

We receive a daily order from a highly praised bakery in New York which allows us to offer the "baked daily fresh" classification. We don't believe in serving any bread that isn't fresh because as true sandwich and hoagie buffs know, it's the bread that makes or breaks the overall quality of your order. What's the advantage of signing up to your email list?

We're always happy to offer special promotions, regular discounts and members of the Mario's Lovers Club will receive exclusive offers on a regular basis that are unavailable to non-members. We're very diligent about not sending out emails that are not worthy or that are sent too often. We do not sell or share your information to anyone and you can opt-out anytime in just a few seconds. You can sign up right on our home page within a few seconds.

What's the best way to order from Mario's?

We recommend stopping in to the store so see firsthand our current selection of delicacies, side dishes, gourmet sandwiches and baked goods. If you choose to call ahead, our staff will be happy to let you know of the latest offerings and inventory. Whether you call ahead or stop in, you can be assured that our food will be fresh and delicious. If you need a delivery, our DoorDash Service can be made online right here on our website.
